Audrey E. Jackson went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 19, 2016.  Audrey was born March 7, 1928 in Belvidere, IL, daughter of Francis and Helen (Burton) Linder. Audrey graduated from Belvidere High School, class of 1945. She married beloved husband Darwin Jackson on June 3, 1955. Audrey worked for many years as a teller at the Belvidere Bank and also enjoyed her time as an Avon lady for over 20 years. She was a lifelong member and supporter of the original South Baptist Church later known as Calvary Baptist Church in Belvidere.

Audrey always enjoyed her time with her family and grandchildren. She was involved in activities from her children's years at Kishwaukee School, PTA, attended plays, band concerts and 4-H meetings. She loved to go to her favorite race tracks, Wilmot and Rockford Speedways, especially if she could take her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her time watching her children show and exhibiting her own vegetables at the Boone County fair.  She made many trips to visit her Colorado grandchildren and was a wonderful and involved grandmother to her 5 grandchildren.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 60 years, Neil Darwin Jackson of Garden Prairie, children Jeffrey Jackson (Tammy) of Roscoe, Jennifer Freisner of Parker, CO and Curt Jackson of Poplar Grove, grandchildren Tyler and Allison Jackson and Haden, Erika and Amy Freisner. Predeceased by her parents, brother, Merrill Linder and son-in-law Eron Freisner.

Audrey's family acknowledges the love and care given by the staff of Northwood Care Center to Audrey during her stay, we are grateful.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Visitation will be held from 6:00- 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery.
