Arthur "Art" R. Grimsley, 57, of Poplar Grove, Illinois, passed away at his home in Poplar Grove on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Born January 29, 1961, the son of Clinton and Margarete (Solberg) Grimsley. Art was an outdoorsman who thoroughly enjoyed fishing (specifically catfishing), camping, doing yardwork, and spending time with his friends and family.

Art is loved and will be dearly missed by his children, Clinton, Jaime, and Jacob Grimsley; siblings, Karen Morgan, Karol (Nathan) Ogden, Kathy (Mike) Nepeon, Ruby Lenarz, and Tim Grimsley; Brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, Linda Grimsley, Danny Martine, and Doug Wiese; grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joann Bremelman, Keith Grimsley, Cheryl Martine, and Mary Wiese; brother-in-law, Mike Morgan; and nephew, Kevin Grimsley.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL. A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services.
