Arlene K. Zenker, 61, of Hampshire, Illinois, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 in Loyola University Hospital, Maywood, Illinois following a courageous battle with Lymphoma. She was born October 4, 1947 in Park Ridge, Illinois, the daughter of David and Dorothy (Kramer) Herzog. She married Steve D. Zenker in Round Lake Beach, Illinois on September 11, 1976. She was a partner and secretary along with her husband who owned Zelta Electronics an Educational Electronic Equipment Service and Sales Co. Arlene was a member of Willow Creek Church of Barrington. She was an active in Casa de Aero Bible Study Group. She enjoyed Quilting and Walking and loved her family and friends. Arlene graduated from Maine East High School in Park Ridge, Illinois and attended Northern Illinois University. She is survived by her husband Steve Zenker of Hampshire; two sons, Jon (Andrea) Zenker, Elgin, Illinois, Mike (Darcy) Zenker, St. Louis, Missouri and a sister, Dorothy Michaels, McHenry, Illinois.
