Arlene L. Faber, 80, of Belvidere, died Friday, September 17, 2010 in Park Strathmoor Nursing Home following a long illness. She was born on December 21, 1929 in Elgin, Illinois. Arlene married Myron "Ted" Faber in Genoa, Illinois on May 5, 1950. She was a supervisor for Automatic Electric. Following retirement, she and Ted moved to Belvidere and opened a cleaning company. Arlene enjoyed crafts and animals in her spare time. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Clarence) Marone; two grandchildren, Kristy Fields and Shannon Maron; a great grandchild, Ariel Fields. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Alberta.
