Ardell L. Krebsbach, 88, of Belvidere, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, November 16, 2017 at Amberwood Care in Rockford. He was born February 9, 1929 in Saint Paul, MN, son of William F. and Martha (Umbach) Krebsbach. He married Caroline Taylor on June 28, 1948 in Belvidere, IL. Ardell worked as a machinist at Twin Disc, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Belvidere Moose Lodge. Ardell enjoyed making crosses out of matches, doing puzzles, and taking his rides on his scooter.

Ardell is loved and missed by his daughters, Argene McDowell, and Arlyss (Jim) Fuller; 4 grandchildren, Anthony McDowell, Tricia (Bob) Downing, Katrina (Bill) Zentefis, and Mike (Katie) Ledesma; and 6 great-grandchildren. Ardell was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Caroline, and siblings, Elvira Coddington, Arbay Krebsbach, Arley Krebsbach, Arvine Krebsbach, and Arzell Krebsbach.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Pastor Bobby Sheets officiating.
