Belvidere, ILAntonio H. Mendoza, 63, of Belvidere, IL was taken from his loved ones suddenly, Sunday August 12, 2012 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. Antonio was born April 7, 1949 in Tornillo, Texas the son of Manuel and Maria (Hernandez) Mendoza. Antonio retired from the Chrysler Corporation where he worked on the assembly line for 31 years. He was a member of the U.A.W. and St. James Catholic Church. Antonio enjoyed painting cars, boxing, listening to and singing along with Vincente Fernandez, watching action movies and playing with his grandchildren. Antonio is loved and will be missed by his children Antonio Mendoza, Jr of Bloomington, IL, Lila M. (Gabriel) Serrano of Aurora, CO, Angela (Gene) Samuel of Broadview, IL, Maria (Mark) Medina of Belvidere, IL; their mother Angela Mendoza of Belvidere; grandchildren Marissa, Fay, Santino, Gabriel, Vicky, Loren, Adalia, Yulissa, Cristian; ten brothers and sisters. He is predeceased by his parents and one brother.
