Antoinette L. Morse, 91, of Roscoe, Illinois died Monday, May 26, 2008 in Maplecrest Nursing Home following a short illness. Born November 18, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Vincenzo and Maria (DiGiovanni) Didia. She was a Rockford resident since 1970, coming here from Cicero, Illinois. She married Donald Morse in Cicero on September 11, 1933. She was a former member of St. Edward Catholic Church, Rockford and the St. Edward's Senior group. She also belonged to the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1052.She is survived by two sons, Richard (Laural) and James (Denise) Morse, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Angeline Landise, Carroll Stream, Illinois; a son-in-law, Glenn Geroux, Belvidere; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, husband, a daughter, Patricia Geroux; a grandson, Glenn M. Geroux and brother Vito Didia.
