Anna Mae Ralston, 92, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2018, surrounded by family members at her home. She was born December 6, 1925 daughter of George and Grace Lameyer. She was married to Kenneth H. Ralston on July 15, 1950 in Pecatonica, IL.
She graduated from Pecatonica High School and also graduated from Rockford School of Nursing and was a registered nurse for twenty eight years while being a farm wife. Anna was a member of the Willow Creek Presbyterian Church and belonged to Mariners Club of Willow Creek. She worked countless hours for the American Heart Association, Rockford Rescue Mission and Maple Crest Nursing Home.
Anna is survived by two sons, Dan Ralston, Caledonia, IL. and Kevin Ralston, Denver, Co.; five grandchildren, Carissa, Daniel John, Andrew, Whitney and Griffin Ralston; daughter-in-laws, Erin Walsh and Nicole Ralston; and nine great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Miari, Brecken, Carrigan, Mackenzie, Lily, Owen, Daisy and Grant.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; sister, Marylin Schuur and brother, Hiram Lameyer.
Private family graveside services will be on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Scottish Argyle Cemetery. Caledonia, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name. To light a candle or share a condolence visit www.AndersonFCS.com
