Ann J. Utt, of Belvidere, died Tuesday September 13, 2005 at Northwoods Care Center. She was born in Chicago to John and Julia (Duffy) Zilis. She worked as a secretary to a law firm and a staff member for a US Congressman and as an administrative assistant to construction dept. of National Accelerator Lab. She had a giving spirit and enjoyed volunteering for the literacy council as well as St. Joseph's Hospital and most importantly, devoting her time to her grandchildren. She was a member of the Bel-Mar Country Club and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard Utt, son; Robert Erickson, step-daughters; Tracy (Ed) Hartfiel, Tana Steen, 7 grandchildren; Robby, Jimmy, Julie, Melissa, Jessica, Kyle, and Jordan, brothers: Dave (Joan) Zilis, Milton (Shirley) Zilis. She is predeceased by her parents, and her daughter Paula Erickson by 13 days.
