Ann Danielson, 91, of Rockford, went home to be with her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at River Bluff Nursing Home. She was born April 13, 1931, in Belvidere, IL, the daughter of Louis and Iva Belle (McKiski) Meyers. Ann married the love of her life, David Danielson, on May 25, 1957, and was devoted to him for over 60 years. Ann worked at White Bear Cleaners and Bishop's Restaurant in Rockford. For many years she was active at First Presbyterian Church in Belvidere and with the Leroy Grange and Pomona Grange. Ann loved to dance, she was an avid card player, natural athlete, and prolific writer of thank you notes. In her later years she enjoyed going to church at River Bluff, playing Bingo, eating donuts, and watching the birds outside her window. Ann trusted in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and could often be heard exclaiming, "Thank you, Jesus!" Family, friends and staff at River Bluff were blessed by Ann's kind and helpful spirit, thankful and generous heart, and joyful enthusiasm for everything.

Ann was a wonderful wife and mother, and will be missed by her children, Brian Danielson and Julie Danielson; as well as nieces, Betty Jane Meyer, Linda Deluga, Lisa Swanson, and nephews, Bernard Meyers, Craig Meyers, Richard Meyers, and Douglas Meyers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David, her brothers, Russell and LaVern, and her sister, Helen.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church, 221 North Main Street, Belvidere, IL 61008.
