Andre Darnell Brown, 57, of Belvidere passed away on November 23, 2022.

Andre was born February 15, 1965 in Chicago, IL the son of William and Ireane (Reed) Brown. He accepted Christ as his savior at an early age, and later confirmed this belief by being baptized. Andre married Tara Hibbler on September 9, 1995 in Chicago, IL. and together they had one child; Parkes. Andre completed his education, earning a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern Illinois University. He worked as a police officer and service weapon qualifier for Rolling Meadows Police Department prior to his retirement. Andre enjoyed traveling, learning new things, playing video games and spending time with his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and could talk to anyone. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years demonstrated his courage and tenacity in the face of life's challenges. Andre will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Tara Brown; son, Parkes Brown both of Belvidere; parents William and Ireane Brown; four brothers-in-law, Hubert (Cynthia) Hibbler, Michael Hibbler, Darryl (Rosemary) Hibbler, Curtis (Anita) Hibbler; two sisters-in-law, Doris Hibbler, Barbara (Michael) Lowery; three uncles, Fletcher Brown, James Smith, Lawton Pinkney; one aunt, Clara Medley; seven nieces and nephews, two great nieces, and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00am till the time of Funeral Service at 11:00am on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 West Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Jorge Cruz, officiating.
