Alma
Wylde, 103, of Belvidere, Illinois, died peacefully February 4, 2019, in Belvidere,
Illinois. She was born April 24, 1915 in Morris, Illinois to John and Mollie
(Walker) Sjostrom. Alma married William Wylde on March 12, 1949 at State Street
Baptist Church in Rockford, IL. She never did drive and would walk to work at the
Belvidere Corset Factory and later worked at The Huddle restaurant here in town,
where she retired in August of 1988. Alma and William built their own home on
Harrison Street in 1951 together. She enjoyed crafts such as sewing and
crocheting.

Alma is preceded
in death by her parents, John and Mollie; husband, William; and her siblings, Signe,
Esther, Milford, Hilda, Victor.

A visitation will
be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2019, at Anderson
Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, Illinois, 61008.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Anderson
