Allen "Bruce" Clark, 86, of Belvidere, IL, died peacefully October 17, 2024, in Belvidere. He was born April 5, 1938, son to Allen Thomas and Illa Lenora (Wenzel) Clark in Belvidere.
Bruce attended school and worked in the maintenance department for many years at Dodge Lanes in Belvidere. He loved sports, especially the Chicago Bears and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a collector of pens, loved Westerns and John Wayne and was a social butterfly in the community. He loved everyone and enjoyed being around people, laughing and joking. He will be missed by those he came to know.
He will be missed by multiple nieces and nephews including Kathy ( Kathy) Blackmer, Keith (Nancy) Clark, Heidi (Jerret) Loofboro, Christopher Clark; several great and great- great nieces and nephews and multiple cousins.
Bruce is preceded in death by is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tommy and Ronnie Clark, Gordon Clark; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside committal service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere. Pastor Charles Waggoner will officiate.
