Alice B. Walters, 97, of Belvidere, IL, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Presence St. Anne's Center in Rockford. Born October 9, 1918 in Huntley, IL, daughter of Fred and Bertha (Holtz) Lange.  Alice worked at Dean Foods. She also worked at Green Giant as a factory worker, retiring from the company after eight wonderful years.

Alice loved to sew and cook. She also loved playing bingo and cards. She had a passion for traveling and interacting with friends and neighbors. Alice was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere.

Alice is loved and missed by her daughter Linda (Robert) Christopherson; grandchildren, Cindy Grimm, Scott Mackeben, Mike (Christy) Lepart, Jennifer (Greg) Seeboth and Eric (Karen) Christopherson; great-grandchildren, Carmen (Justin) Sawalski, Allison Holt, Kim Snow, Mariah Lepart, Dylan and Amy Christopherson, Jessica and Max Seeboth; and great-great grandchildren, Avarie and Autumn Sawalski.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Walters; parents; and daughters, Virginia and Helen.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 E. Belvidere Road, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Pastor Allan Buss officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. prior to service at the church. Burial in McHenry County Memorial Park, 11301 Lake Ave., Woodstock, IL 60098.
