Alice M. Rogner, 93, of Belvidere, passed away Thursday morning, April 6, 2017 at Maple Crest Care Center after a short illness. Born December 6, 1923 in Saginaw, MI, daughter of William and Lottie (Morse) Fleischmann. Alice married the love of her life, Albert C. Rogner, a former principal at Immanuel Lutheran Belvidere, from 1958-1970 on January 2, 1944 in Saginaw, MI. She was a homemaker who loved her children. Alice was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she served on the Ladies Guild, Mary Martha League and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She enjoyed playing in the bell choir and singing in choir.

Alice is loved and missed by her children, Karen (Warren) Clausing, Paul (Calisse) Rogner, John (Sue Elston) Rogner, and David Rogner; grandchildren, Jon (Anita) Clausing, Sara Clausing, Ben (Jamie) Clausing, Mary (Raenhard) Wesselschmidt, Timothy Rogner, Christopher Rogner, and Adam Rogner; 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert C. on August 31, 1996, son, James on August 13, 1995, and brothers, Albert, Earl and Carl Fleischmann.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 Belvidere Road, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Allan Buss officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the church, and also from 10-10:45 a.m., prior to the service. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery.
