Rockford, ILAlice M. Hachmann, 93, of Rockford and formerly of Dubuque, IA died peacefully Sunday evening, December 23, 2012, in her home. Alice was born September 30, 1919 in LaCrosse, WI the daughter of John and Cora (Wagner) Schnittgrund. She married Arnold Hachmann on October 9, 1937 in Bellevue, Iowa. Alice was devoted to her family and the Best Mom in the World and an avid White Sox's fan. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere.Alice is loved and will be missed by her children Lowell "Butch" (Mary) Hachmann, Ruth Ann (Earle) Rothbaler, Janet Hachmann, Christine (Scott) Young, LuAnn "Lucy" (Jon) Malone; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Alice is predeceased by her parents, husband, Arnold, son Jack and a great-granddaughter.

Memorials can be given in care of the American Cancer Society, Immanuel Lutheran Church or Northern Illinois hospice in Alice's name.
