Alice M. Becker, 77, of Elgin, IL and formerly of Woodstock and Belvidere, IL died Thursday evening, January 8, 2015 in St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin, IL after a short illness.  Alice was born June 12, 1937 in Marengo, IL the daughter of Raymond and Pauline "Alice" (Faye) Crocker.  She worked for the Belvidere Police Department as a dispatcher and then retired from the Illinois Tollway Authority.  Alice enjoyed baking and Bingo.

Alice is survived by her children, Claude (Marilyn) Horsman of Belvidere, Robert Horsman of Crystal Lake, IL, Elizabeth (Arlyn) Roush of Woodstock, IL, Hal (Suzanne) Becker of San Antonio, TX, John (Estela) Becker of Poplar Grove, IL, George (Megan) Becker of Belvidere, Alan (Kimberly) Becker of Loves Park, IL; sisters, Sandy and Shirley; nieces and nephews; 17 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.  Alice is predeceased by her parents; brothers, Raymond and Edward; sisters, Barbara, Mary and Virginia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Glen Borhart, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo officiating.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.  Burial in Belvidere Cemetery.  Memorials can be given in care of the family.  To light a candle or to share a memory, please visit www.AndersonFCS.com.
